Welcome to Talbot Turnings! We are family owned and operated small business, located in Easton, MD; near the Chesapeake Bay. We have been in the wood working industry for over 31 years, and we are dedicated to offering top quality products.

Today we produce our signature Maple and Canadian Birch baseball bats every year for ballplayers throughout the world. Individual attention is given to each and every bat in order to insure that it meets our standards and yours. Owner, Mike Randolph, has been called "an artist with ash, a Michelangelo with maple..." and we trust after one look at our individually crafted products you'll agree there is true natural talent behind every piece.

In the Fall and Winter when bat sales naturally slow down we usually make game calls (goose, duck and turkey) for local hunters here in "Chesapeake Country". This year we are making them available to everyone - our calls are made with the same skill and craftsmanship you have come to know and love in our baseball bats. We use only the finest hand selected lumber, (as with our bats) and every call is given special attention to detail and quality.

We take pride in each and every Chesapeake Thunder baseball bat and game call, both for their beauty and powerful performance. We hope that our products bring you much enjoyment, and if you have any comments, testimonials, or questions, please feel free to contact us. We'd love to hear from you.

Featured Testimonial

Based on a wood-turning tradition that goes back over 27 years, the Chesapeake Thunder is a remarkable bat to behold. The satiny smoothness of the black lacquer finish seems too perfect for wood. I really don't know how Mike Randolph can make such a fine wood bat for under $50.
